Every home tells a story.

At M.J. Arthur Design, founder Michael Jude Arthur creates interiors that are deeply personal and quietly sophisticated — spaces designed not merely to be beautiful, but to reflect the world and passions of those who inhabit them.
Before founding the studio, Michael spent years working on Broadway and in London’s West End, collaborating with some of theatre’s most celebrated directors and performers, including Julie Andrews, Natasha Richardson, Nicholas Hytner, and Sam Mendes. He also worked alongside legendary theatrical designers Bob Crowley, Willa Kim, and Robin Wagner, witnessing firsthand how ideas turned to sketches, then could be transformed into immersive worlds on stage.

That same philosophy, that same dedication, now informs every project at M.J. Arthur Design.
Based between London and New York, the studio approaches interiors with a theatrical eye and a refined sense of composition, balancing elegance and character to create homes with warmth, soul, and individuality.

Because the most memorable interiors are never simply decorated — they tell a story.

Let M.J. Arthur Design tell yours.
